During the Nea Zichni 2013 cultural festivities we organized an evening dedicated to astronomy and presented our project.

The event was called "Astrowalk" and was held on 16 July 2013 in our schoolyard.

The astrowalk event

Assistant Professor of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Kleomenis Tsiganis, was the invited speaker and gave a breathtaking talk about our solar system, comets, asteroids, meteors and shooting stars!

Then it was time for our school students to present our project, but they got crowd-panic!!! In other words, they chickened out!!!

The students prefered not to present their work

So, Dr. Taramopoulos, the school headmaster did the presentation on their behalf!
